Photographer Adam Nekola is a 2006 graduate of the University of Illinois and the Daily Illini. He has been a professional photographer since graduation and has studied photography for several years. Currently, he is a staff photographer for the Morris Daily Herald in Morris, IL.

Nekola shoots with a Canon 30D and additional Canon equipment. He has covered Illinois basketball, Bears training camp, a CSNBC presidential debate, NASCAR, the Chicago Cubs, the PGA, and numerous concerts.

Nekola has won several awards from the Illinois Press Association and the Associated Press for photography and Web design.
